"discharged too soon"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

There is no communication between staff even if you constantly repeat yourself to different staff members the message is never noted or relayed . Nobody has any common sense. You are just a number in a bed where they want to hurry up and get you discharged It feels as though it's all targets and what looks good on paper for the statistics We are in a postcode lottery and unfortunately our postcode for medical help is poor. The only ward which has consistency, common sense and communication along with their medical knowledge is the St Lukas cardiac ward. Here you are treated like a patient. Staff also communicate with family members. Which brings peace of mind.
