"Post Operative Care & consultation"

About: Castle Hill Hospital

Following excellent urgent surgery as a result of a twisted ovarian cyst my daughter initially received in our opinion un-coordinated post operative follow up by colleague/s of the consultant. However when my daughter finally saw the consultant we were both highly delighted with the time, consideration and intimate and detailed consideration he gave to her existing medeical situation and ongoing care. The doctor from Radiology/Ultra Sound also provided excellent care at this time. His empathy and willingness to bring a number of possibly complex scenarios in to focus, gives us the optimum confidence that my daughter can take an active part in helping the specialists in any short term diagnosis and longer term care. He was able to fully engage her varying options and the pros and cons of each. I'm sure the consultant's dedication an professionalism must be a major asset to both Castle Hill and Hull Royal Infirmary and highly recommend that all of his colleagues could benefit by following his lead.
