"Out of Hours Service was outstanding"

About: Hereford County Hospital / General medicine NHS 111

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter had a high temperature for a week so I called NHS111 for advice as it was a Sunday. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly professional and helpful. Within 5 minutes I had been advised that my daughter needed to see a doctor and an appointment was booked with primecare at the out of hours clinic at the County Hospital.

When we got there we were seen within 5 minutes by a nurse. The quality of care given by the nurse was outstanding. So friendly and welcoming. She talked to my daughter (who is 8) and made her feel at ease and she understood what was happening - most importantly, we felt that she really knew what she was doing and we felt safe in her hands.
