"making appointments for an invisible consultant"

The appointment was made a several weeks ago, when I attended my appointment I was informed that the doctor had left the health trust last autumn. So why have I got an appointment with him if he is not there. Also the doctor I did see was a very nice man helpful and probably introduced himself but as I was worried I did not take in his name and trying to find a list of doctors working at this hospital is impossible, it does not exist (why) is it some kind of secret. Also to my shock a further appointment had to be made for a follow up in June 2014 and its with this invisible consultant again. Shame on you, making people wait all that time. my appointment was at 1.30pm the first of the afternoon I saw the poor overworked doctor at 3.45pm when I approached a very overworked nurse and explained I had a further appointment at the London Royal at 4.pm she advised me I was next. My appointment at the London Chest Hospital was 1.30pm and there should never have been a problem in me reaching the London Royal by 4.00pm. I am not a happy bunny I hope to hear from you soon.
