After major back surgery my wife was transferred to WestheathHospital ward 11 for Intensive physiotherapy.when admitted she was treated like a 73 year old gereatric, shouted at and had to answer questions as if she was senile. The intensive treatment was being walked down the corridor then told they would be back on Monday to use the stairs, that meant spending the weekend with no Physio treatment, the staff we where led to believe would would be involved, bearing in mind staff where run ragged but be unable to cope. Another patient recovering from a replacement knee had been there for two weeks without any Physio, the person assigned to her was on holiday! We had no alternative but to discharge her from this terrible place, steps should be taken and steps taken to ensure no other patient is not subjected to the treatment my wife was treated to, questions should be asked why proper Physio treatment was unavailable.
