About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Alexandra Hospital / General Medicine (wards 8, 10, 11, 14, 18 & 27)

(as the patient),

Acute admission due to Crohn's flare-up.

Read bad reports about RAH but found no problems whatsoever. Hospital and wards were perfectly clean. Was given great care and attention throughout my stay from very nice over-worked nursing staff.

My family's only complaint was at the Accident & Emergency Dept. It was difficult to contact staff to find out what was happening with me. They sat for nearly 2 hours only to finally discover that I was on the ward all that time. They were not informed of this and the ward staff were wondering where they were.
