"Birthing Centre"

About: Burnley General Hospital

I gave birth to my baby girl 6 months ago(2nd delivery) , after considering I wanted to deliver her at Blackburn royal hospital but was unable due to (waters breaking and no baby a day after) going back to Blackburn hospital they sent me to Lancashire women's and newborn center ,(LWNC for short) and had to be induced as it was dangerous for both baby and me, I was put in a room with other mothers to be, and waited for the contractions (very) shortly afterwards I followed a midwife to a room with a bed in the middle but with a bathroom, and had 2 midwifes that stayed with me,and was amazing and a midwife that never left my side I opted just for gas and air but became to painful had to have an injection, after delivery I was losing a lot of blood and had fantastic doctors in the room as me and my partner was panicking, overall fantastic, doctors and midwives truly do not get enough credit for their hard work and abuse they receive from mothers giving birth thank you soo much for delivering my beautiful baby girl and all the hard work you truly do !
