"Am I just lucky?"

I frequently listen to people complaining about GP appointments being unavailable, poor service in clinics and hospitals and wonder whether i am just very lucky because I have always received excellent NHS treatment - my GP has seen me within hours of wanting an appointment (albeit infrequently since i enjoy good health ), i was seen at a gyny clinic in under a week ( i was seen 20 mins ahead of my appointment time! ) I attended breast screening services within a month of being 50 and when i had to attend subsequently given every reassurrance. I have been again for a routine check and the service was absolutely tip top efficiency the second time around too!

I have worked in NHS years ago, had 4 caesarian sections and never had a problem...had to write to praise the system as I am fed up ofvpeople always complaining
