"Labour "

About: Tameside General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had a very difficult and challenging labour. The midwives and staff on the labour ward were fantastic and looked after both me and my daughter.

Also the aftercare on ward 27 was especially good and they made sure I was well supported with breastfeeding and also in general.

Every member of staff had time for you especially with those teary moments! This made a huge difference to me and my family in how I recovered. I can't recommend them highly enough for making sure both myself and baby were safe and looked after.

Thank you for your response.

We endeavour at all times that the women and their families who choose to have their baby at our Maternity unit have the best possible experience.

I will ensure that the staff have sight of your comments. Thank you again.
