"I don’t expect to be messed about, regarding my health!"

About: Telford and Wrekin PCT

(as the patient),

What I want to say is, why don’t we get heard properly? I’m ill, got a chest infection, really bad cough and vomiting. I’m recovering from a major heart operation, which I had last month. I tried making an appointment with my local GP at wellington medical centre, & the receptionists goes there isn’t anything available. So I ask, could u get the Dr to prescribe me something instead? She goes, ill get a Dr to ring u back. So he did, and he told me that my prescription would be ready by 4:30.

I went to pick my prescription up, waited in the queue & the receptionist told me its over in the chemist. So I went, but they told me they haven’t got anything. I went back to the surgery to ask the receptionist again. I wait aside, but I get so tired standing, so I sat down.

This gentleman walks in & asked for his prescription, which he ordered the same day as me. He was told that it was over in the chemist. He went, and he was told that his prescription wasn’t there, so he came back to the surgery. He told the receptionist that his prescription wasn’t there, he was told to take a seat in the surgery. The receptionist took less than 5mins & gave him his prescription, whilst I was there waiting.

Still I waited for further 15mins, then went back to reception. She goes to me, she forgot about me, then made me wait for further 10mins and then she walks into a side room to look 4 my prescription. The thing is, she just walk straight in and then out, she didn’t search for anything. Then goes to me that prescription isn’t ready. Is this justice...?
