"Waited three months for an appointment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Dermatology Clinic, Donnington.

Steps 4 and 5 did not happen as described in leaflet “it’s your choice. ”

When I telephoned after 10 weeks with no information from TRAQS I was referred to the dermatology clinic where the medical secretary discussed my referral and “fitted me in” with an appointment in September 2013.

The initial GP appointment was in June 2013.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to note that there was an apparent delay in your referral being dealt. As your feedback is anonymous I am unable to access the full background to your referral. If the delay was, in fact, the responsibility of TRAQS I must apologise unreservedly. However, it may well be that despatch of your referral was delayed for whatever reason by your GP Practice.
