What I liked
After suffering 2 Miscarrige's it was a breath of fresh air to be refered to Liverpool Womens Hospital into the caring clinic. I could never thank her enough for the support, encouragement and the general feel of 'nothings a problem' approach. After making it past the 3 month mark I went to the consultant's clinic which was the same as the other one, all of the Consultants we dealt with there were truely fantastic. Being some 160 mile round trip visiting for my appointments was made less stressfull knowing we were visiting these wonderful people. We had our beautiful baby boy on 13th July, which after a failed induction, lead to an Emergency Caesarean but with the caring support and advice from all the Midwives and Consultants we got through it as stress free as possible. Then we spent almost a week in hospital and went home, with lots of information and advice for how to look after our little one. He is now 15 months old and thank Liverpool Womens Hospital for their excellent care and support in what was a tricky pregnancy, they are truely wonderfull!!
What could be improved
The food! during my stay the food in my opinion was not of that, that should be being fed to somebody recovering from an operation! a few nights we were given ham sandwiches, but yes if anything could be improved, the food department definatley need attention.
