"Pre and post op.for ruptured Achilles Tendon"

About: Lister Hospital

It took an inordinate amount of time between rupturing my Achilles tendon ( 14th July ) until it was operated on (25th October ) by which time it had became a far more serious problem and now debilitating condition, but once in hospital I couldn't have asked for better treatment and care. Now I am just struggling with physio, once every 3 weeks which is not sufficient to get my leg working again. In France I would be having physio 3-4 times a week !!!!!

Whilst we can't comment on your experience of NHS services prior to coming to the Lister or following your discharge, we were pleased to see how highly you rated your care when your were treated by our orthopaedic team. We'll make sure they get to read your feedback, which we know they will be delighted to receive.
