"The excellance of childrens A&E"

Can I send a very heartfelt thank you to all the staff involved in the care of my two grandchildren last Monday. The staff treated us all with great professionalism , care and respect that we felt confident that our children were receiving first class care . once all the paperwork was completed at reception we were quickly admitted to the waiting area which was warm , clean and pleasant environment , and within a short time seen by a senior nurse who soon became familiar with our predicament and the reason for our anxiety . Her wonderful calming ,professional attitude soon put us all at ease and once the pre assessment was complete we returned to the waiting area . We didn't have long to wait before seeing a very efficient doctor who liaised with the Poisons Department and paediatrician, soon set the wheels in motion for the monitoring and care of our children which was frequent . Although we were there for over five hours in total we were regularly kept in formed of the children's progress and felt that all the staff had the care of our children as the prime focus. A truly excellent service and one we are very grateful to have fifteen minutes away. Thank you all once again a brilliant service.
