"Staff are brilliant"

This is a follow on from my review in Oct last year. I was admitted yesterday for day surgery on the Wollaton Ward. Unfortunately due to a lingering cough the anaesthetist concluded it was too risky to have the procedure.Due to logistical problems I had to wait over 4 hours for my husband to pick me up. The staff were absolutely brilliant + even though I felt in the way they reassured me + nothing was too much trouble.It was excellent patient service from top to bottom. I am now delaying my procedure for a few months as I am starting a new job + once again the process of dealing with my consultant + his Secretary about this has been excellent.I am an nhs patient + I certainly don't feel as though I have been treated any differently than if I had been paying.
