I would like to take this opportunity to highlight you the two stars you have got in your team! I have visit your CT IMAGINE SCANNER- HAMMERSMITH department to do a ct scan on the 12th FEB 2014. I had to wait 1 and half hours to be seen and then there was a power failure (alarm) at the hospital made us as patients more upsets due to the fact we will have to wait more time additionally... However, ones my name has been called I went to get the scan done and I have been approached by two lovely, happy, smiley ladies. After they have verbally identified me I had few questions to ask them and they have answered them very kindly, and very politely! I did not feel any pressure at all and I definitely did not feel that they are in rush or they are rushing me! I understand that how busy is your working environment could be and i'm sure you all have got targets/ timings part of your job and what I have faced so far from some NHS staff that they are in RUSH and they make us patients in rush too. These two individuals also have explained me everything what's going to happen during the scan and not just that one of these ladies have helped me so much to even get up from the bed. Just to let you know that i'm a very big man (6' 4" tall and 125kg in weight). One of the ladies helped me to come out from the bed as due to my injuries after the car accident and I could not get up my own. Bless her! What I mainly wanted to highlight you is these two individuals are diamonds for your team! Ultimately we as the member of public who receives your medical services! It is hard to see people like them on public services! I have felt on that day that I was in some sort of a Private hospital. They really did changed my mentality towards NHS! It was superb outstanding service on the day from them towards me! They really went the extra mile to help me, which they did not had to do! They could have ignored me completely. I strongly believe that these two individuals are not doing their job for the sake of it, they are in it genuinely to help a patient, and that's a superb attitude and it does makes a different to the community we as patients! So, could I please kindly ask you to pass this e-mail to as higher as possible because they do deserve good recognition from their higher above bosses! They do deserves it big time! We like to see many more of them at our good old NHS and we will support for any political decisions towards you to avoid any job losses etc... because we need you all!
