"A broken knee"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

I am writing this for my daughter. She arrived with a very split knee and twisted ankle on Saturdayu morning. Some person or other, faintly dressed her knee, clearly not properly. She was asked back on Sunday at 10.00 She arrived then and waited until 1700.00 to be seen. At which point the surgeon said , more or less, what had these really stupid people at A & E done? It was already infected, because they had not cleaned it out properly. He did his best, but too late. Two days later, back in the 'hospital', you have operated and kept her in, why?? Thank you for your response
