"pre op appointment"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I had my pre-op appointment this month. When entering the hospital they sent me to the pre-op assessment unit.on arriving there i was told my appointment wasn't there, but within another unit.on arriving at the next unit I was told my appointment wasn't here either but on a ward. On arriving on the said ward I went to book in at the office and then told to take a seat in waiting area. after being sat 1 hour after my time a nurse shouted to see if i was there. she asked how long i'd been waiting as she wasnt aware I was there, the office staff had not even booked me in on the system. I am due to have my operation in 2 weeks time and this has not put any faith in the hospital for me. I couldnt get answers to the questions i asked as i wasn't able to speak to the consultant, only get to speak to him on operation day.not good enough to me when i terriified of hospitals and also as this is the hospital where my dad died and where staff went against our decision regarding his life and did exactly as they wanted and took their own decisions. needless to say im really not looking forward to coming here for my operation at all.
