"V G visit to the Kingfisher ward"

About: Teignmouth Hospital

My wife had her operation yesterday. She was terrified of the whole proceedings before she actually went through the hospital doors. The reception desk was very helpful, the actual ward reception was very helpful and took her through the inevitable formalities with courtesy and lots of consideration, the short wait for the theatre was eased by the Nurses actually talking with her. During the proceedure she told me that everyone was so kind and supportive. She was concerned that she had hurt one of the Theatre nurses' hand as she held it so tight. After the Op was over she was brought into the patients waiting room and immediately asked if she would like a cuppa and a biscuit ... and I was asked as well! The on duty Nurse, was kind and thoughtful as he took us through the follow-up proceedure. All staff made what could have been a traumatic experience into one that we both would recommend to others. Thank You Everybody
