"Wasted time for a COPD sufferer"

I had an appointment this morning at St Marys hospital in Southsea, I suffer with COPD, but this was not the reason for my visit, I have been having water works problems, thats what this mornings appointment was for, I have no transport of my own and the bus service is not good , so I walked the 2 miles (not bad with COPD) to the hospital, when I arrived at the reception desk I was told the appointment was cancelled, so then I had to walk the 2 miles home again, a real waste of time and effort, and guess what, this was the second time - a simple phone call would have saved me a lot of wasted effort.
