What I liked

The ward staff in Cheerful Sparrows Male were friendly and polite and made me feel comfortable despite hating the fact I had to stay when I didnt want to, yet some were a bit over zealous with the patient visiting times.

What could be improved

General cleanliness on the ward was good, I had my ruck sack under my bed and it was covered in thick dust when i pulled it out. The toilets could do with being inspected/cleaned more often as it seems some of the elderly male patients dont seem to be able to aim there penis towards the toilet bowl and actually tend to piss everywhere but in the loo.

Anything else?

I had to raise a complaint about one of the doctors after talking to her and being told that I shouldn't be riding a motorcycle and that people who have accidents on motorcycles stay in hospital longer than those in cars. I found her attitute disrespectful and insensitive as how I choose to travel in the outside world is up to me. I do hope the complaint has been followed up and the member of staff disciplined!!
