"E N T treatment in paediatric A N E"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Fab team in A n E Friday Evening( valentines) my son decided to pick his nose with the rubber on the end of his pencil whilst doing his homework...ended up wedged very far back into his nostril and i couldn't reach it with my tweezers! was advised to attend A N E although the triage nurse stated it was too far back for suction and tong removal...we saw the ENT doc and he was fab...lovely man, comical and sensitive towards my scared little boy! hooked it out in a matter of minutes with a sharp instrument and no need for the proposed surgery to remove it.. in and out and still managed to go for our valentines meal minus the rubber! :)

Dear Becka, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us your kind feedback. This is much appreciated and has been shared with the A&E team as well as the ENT team. We hope your son has learnt his lesson, and got his homework done too.
