I went to a&e other day but felt was treated unfairly and unprofessionally Some of the staff were quite rude and unfriendly too. I was the one who had to tell nurse that I'd not long ago being given a dose of medicine so wouldn't be right to give again. They did not respect my privacy and would keep opening curtains so every one can see When I asked for assistance or wanted something they would ignore I even asked for light above my bed to be turned off because shining in my eyes and just got an angry answer saying that it depends if workers needed it or not but when I asked another member of staff later on to switch it off she did it straight away not making any problem Staff seemed to be being rude about another lady who came from abroad and didn't know English. I'm sure if this lady understood what was being said about her she would have been upset. Funny thing is those members of staff being rude were obviously not originally from this country either and may have not known the language either when they came here. The way they spoke to this woman harshly was not nice at all. Although I was still in so much pain I was told some one else needed my bed and I had to leave hardly giving me anytime to get ready and go. I ended up leaving and having to go lie down on a bench in main entrance seating area because of being in so much pain and waiting for at least 2 hours for some one to pick me up and take me home. I actually left the ward in extreme pain leaning on desk and talking to person at desk being discharged
