My son was admitted last Tuesday evening by ambulance following an ice skating accident. He was diagnosed with a fractured tibia and spent the night and the next day as an inpatient in childrens ward 2. I cannnot fault the treatment my son or my wife and I received. We were kept fully informed all of the time even when the department was busy. I would especially like to thank the duty Doctor. He was professional and caring and even after my son had been referred to orthapaedics was forthcoming with constructive advice to the young lady doctor from the orthapaedic department and consulting with the registrar. Also I should like to mention the nurse who was very caring. When he went to ward 2 the staff there again were very kind and helpful again even though they were very busy
