"Excellent treatment at the podiatry dept"

I had an appointment at the podiatry dept on Wednesday. I parked in the marked bay outside the dept. went to buy my parking ticket. No machine in the usual place. One has to walk across muddy grass to get to the machine in the main car park and stand in a 4 inch puddle.. It would take the parking team 10 minutes to put some slabs in the grass and in front of the machine. I had the pleasure of having soaking wet muddy feet for my appointment. Does no one think in the parking dept. I cannot speak highly enough of the medical treatment I receive . Always first class on time and very friendly professionals other people seem incapable of thought, care or any common sense

I was sorry to hear about the difficulties that you encountered when visiting the Podiatry department at St Mary’s, the machine that you referred to as being not in the usual place, was a staff only machine which was destroyed by a reversing lorry. To address the problem that you encountered the parking management company have been asked to replace the machine with one that can be used by patients and visitors instead of just staff, which will be within a much more suitable walking distance from Podiatry. The company are being pushed for a date when this will be completed, and once this is in place it should negate the need for a path to the main car park. The comments relating to the positive care that you received by the Podiatry team have been shared with the team. I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide us with this valuable feedback, as it allows us to contiually strive to improve our services, and thank you again for drawing this issue to attentions, which we hope will soon be addressed.
