"patient starved!"

Admitted for day surgery. Was asked to fast the night before. After surgery to jaw, I was allowed to eat only soft food but the staff had no food to give except for cereal after fasting for nearly 18 hrs! Apsolutely disgusting service and the staff were embarassed for having nothing to give. Huspand had to go and buy proper food from the canteen. Don,t believe a word in the glossy brochures given in pre-op!
