"The communication throughout was very good"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I had a very good experience when I had to have a minor operation at the maxillofacial clinic. What I liked was that the doctors and nurses explained the whole procedure to me both before and during the surgery, letting me know what they were doing so I was reassured. The communication throughout was very good, I was very happy with this and have no criticism of the whole experience.

Dear TalkTo50

Thank you letting us know about the great care experience you had recently at the Maxillofacial Clinic at University Hospital Crosshouse.

It was good to hear that you felt reassured by the communication before and during the surgery, our doctors and nurses involved in your care will be encouraged to hear that their fantastic team work made you feel comfortable.

I will be passing your story onto the Health Care Manager who covers this area of medicine who will in turn pass it on to the team at the Maxillofacial Clinic.

I hope you are recovering from your operation.

Kind regards

Kate
