"Emergency Admittance on a Saturday Evening to A&E"

I was admitted via Ambulance to A&E one Saturday evening. There was no area free to area to put me so I was placed in a small public waiting room with a sofa and one armchair lying on the trolley. Whilst this was far ideal it was the streams of someone else's blood all over the floor that horrified and disgusted me. The level of hygeine seemed well below par for a hospital. The Doctor was adequate and I felt sorry for him working in such a run down A&E which appeared severly under funded and over stretched.
