"Verbal abuse by a nurse at north tees"

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

(as the patient),

I was admitted to north tees hospital after a bad reaction to medication. My memory is vague of that night, but I remember being verbally abused by a nurse. She came right up to my face and said something like, "you stink of faeces and urine" (not in those exact words) in a nasty tone, to make me paranoid. Unfortunately, that is all I remember and did not have the presence of mind to complain there and then. I know there is little that can be done now, as I could not identify her again, but this is annoying me. It is disgusting that trained health professionals behave in such a manner because they think a patient cant or won’t remember. From my experience, the staff at north tees have snotty and vindictive attitudes towards the patients in their care. I would not verbally abuse staff and I expect not to be abused when I am admitted under their care.
