"2 Visits to Ward 13 and as an NHS patient Ward 19"

I recently had 2 admission to Airedale for gall bladder related problems. The sad part is that had the removal operation been performed in a timely manner none of this would have happened - however I fully understand that due to shortages the surgeon was doing breast cancer operations. On both admissions I had good treatment, consideration and extra help where needed as I am a carer for my husband. The doctor went out of his way to fit in an ERCP ahead of time to get me home sooner than anticipated. Given the NHS shortage I believe that Airedale are performing very well indeed. I feel that if anyone has any problem they should be mentioned at the time in order to give people chance to deal with them.
