"Penrice birth centre"

About: St Austell Community Hospital

I attended the birth Centre for the birth of my first child in November 2013. The staff were fantastic. Extremely professional, friendly, accommodating and above all knowledgeable; giving me huge confidence during the Labour. I chose the birth centre as it had a birthing pool which was fantastic to use. The centre was very clean with staff noticeably taking infection control seriously. Following the birth and my overnight stay I was provided with a huge amount of support and given the opportunity to ask questions and advice. I cannot recommend the Centre highly enough. It gave me the opportunity to have the type of birth I so dearly wanted and I felt completely supported throughout. I feel it is so important that positive feedback is given as sometimes it seems only negative experiences are recalled. I remain very grateful for the care myself and my family received.
