I fell down very heavily and I felt my leg snap. We called the ambulance 5am and they were so kind and professional . I felt in safe hand. After a quick assessment and painkillers we were off. Great service from a team about to finish their night shift. A&E was very very busy! We were but into a cubical and a lovely lady looked after us like we were her only priority (8am and the level of care was fantastic) she was so so busy! We were x- rayed and on Aruthusa ward by 11am and I was being operated on by 11.30!! The proffestional team of nurses on Aruthusa ward took great care of me! They had that personal touch, ( from cleaners to dinner ladies) nothing ever to much...9 day in hospital and on the mend now and all of the dedicated team on Aruthusa ward! I don t want to hear anyone moan about MedwayHospital !
