"Care on Ward 22 Jubilee Wing"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Gateshead)

My father was admitted to Ward22 on Friday with a stroke, which sadly proved fatal. I cannot commend highly enough the efforts that the staff involved went to, in ierms both of care to dad and perhaps under the circumstances as importantly, to us, his relatives. I would like to express my thanks to all the day staff on the ward on Friday7th - Sunday 9th Feb, the nurses and doctors, for the care and attention they all directed at us during this time. I never feor a moment felt as though we were in a process and always felt as though we, and dad, were treated as individuals. I would also like to staff from the evening shift and the auxillaries who oput up with the endless comings and goings as my dad reached his end. I would like to pass on my thanks to them all.

Thank you so much for your kind words, it's nice to know our staff were able to make a very difficult time for you and your family a little easier. We'll be sure to pass along your comments to the departments involved.
