"The care of my dad was so good."

Unfotunately we lost my dad but on his final day with us he was looked after so well. It was comforting to know that him and us were looked after so well. It really seemed like the staff cared. Specifically the staff in the ECU. There were others that stood out but I can't recall their names. Thanks very much. (I agree with other posts the car park was confusing and stressful!)

Dear Sir / Madam, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your father - please accept our condolences at this very sad time. In these circumstances it is extremely generous of you to take the time to get in touch to share details of your father's care at the end of his life. I am comforted by the fact that you were left with such a strong sense of how much our staff cared. We know that kindness and compassion are at the heart of truly excellent care and our teams do strive to hold on to this and allow their patients to know just how much they matter. I will pass your kind note on to the ECU team - it will mean a great deal to them. I suspect the individuals who really stood out will know who they are and feel grateful to learn just how much their thoughtful care meant to you and your father. I am so sorry that the car parking arrangements left you feeling confused and stressed - it's not what you needed as a family. Please be assured we are listening to all the concerns received from our patients and visitors and working hard to make the changes that are necessary to improve matters.
