"ortho wait and wait"

About: Southend Hospital

fractured my wrist in early December, very good treatment then. due for outpatient appointment 31/12/13, waited 1hour and 40 minutes, not seen had to give up attended another appointment 4/2/14 same situation another 1hr 40 minute still not seen. I surrender!!! what is going on ?

Many thanks for your comments. I was truly sorry to learn of the waits you have experienced in the fracture clinic, especially after such a positive start to your treatment. We do acknowledge that there are sometimes delays in our outpatient clinics and staff do their very best to keep them to a minimum and our teams are always reviewing their clinics to find ways of making them run as smoothly as possible.

Your comments will be passed to the orthopaedic team for them to use as it is helpful to obtain realtime feedback about how the clinics are running.
