I recently had to attend the A&E department in RLH where I was treated with the utmost care and respect. The nurse practitioner who assessed me when I was brought into the department was fantastic. The care I received, despite the fact that the department was visibly under pressure, was excellent. I was well cared for by the ambulance staff, A&E staff, the orthopaedic team and would like to give a special mention to the care I had whilst in the recovery room following my operation. I was there for 5 hours as I was waiting for a bed to become available and I was particularly well looked after. Since being discharged I have attended the Occupational therapy department where I have also encountered excellent care. I would just like to thank all those who took such great care of me.
