"Terrible hospital !"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

My daughter put a ear ring inside her ear. I was advised to take her straight to the emergency department which I did. The doctor said he was unable to remove the ear ring and I was told the ENT department would contact me the next morning. That was three days ago. My daughter is 3 years old and at times gets very upset because she is in pain. The ear ring is still in her ear and I'm sure the longer it's left the worse it can get. I have phoned 5 different numbers, I spoke to one person & was told that the person that deals with the emergencies is off sick, she gave me 2 numbers to call and all I'm getting is answering machines and I've left 3 messages but no one has returned my calls so I don't know what to do. Just leave my daughter with this in her ear surely it could cause infection!
