"Excellent care"

I had a gynecology procedure and stayed overnight in ward 30. I have previously had horrendous experiences at Leicester hospitals, so I was dreading this. However, I need not have worried. The nurses were organised, polite, friendly and filled me with confidence. Every time they changed shift, my new nurse came and introduced herself and checked I was ok. I saw my surgeon, three other doctors and two anesthetists, and they all explained everything carefully and consistently. I was really surprised, and impressed. When I have to go back (and I will!) I won't be worried. I really felt like I was treated like a person rather than just a body.
