"Gallbladder Removal"

About: Halton Hospital

Underwent gallbladder removal on 7th Feb 14. From the moment I entered ward B4 I was treated with care & dignity and the staff did everything they possibly could to put me at ease and make my stay as comfortable as possible. At every stage of my procedure staff took time to explain what would be happening. All staff members, be they porters, anaesthetists, Staff Nurses (day & night shift), general assistants and cooks were absolutely superb which enabled post-op recovery to go well and I was discharged later that evening. Back in 2005 I had a hernia repair at a private hospital and I must say that the care I got there was no where near as good as that which I received at Halton Hospital. A big thank you to all the staff on B4.

Thanks for your feedback which we've passed on to the team. We're really proud of our surgery service at Halton and we're delighted to hear your comments - we'll also make sure that the chefs at Halton get your thanks!
