Level of care I rate as excellent. I have always seen the named consultant and nurse specialist as stated in my appointment letter.
The last consultant I'd only been with for 6 years and in that time had surgery for a bone anchored hearing aid which was performed being awake. Was put at ease by the team therefore my mind was taken off of the surgery. This was done in 2009 then two years later had the perforated eardrum repaired which was made up of cartilage bone taken from behind the ear to make a new eardrum. All successful.
Nikki the nurse who does the micro suction is nice and friendly and puts you at ease too.
The only downside is the waiting time. I have waited one to two hours over my appointment time on some not all of my visits. My overall rating yes I give you all top marks. Excellence from consultant and the team.
