"Excellent A & E Department"

After a fall, I took my mother to the A&E department. We were slightly dreading it as you hear horror stories of being sat waiting for hours. I have to say I was over the moon the with the care and attention my mother received and at the speed at which we were seen to. We were in and out within 1 hour, after being examined, x-rayed, and then having a pot fitted. All the staff were extremely helpful. The nurse that we saw was wonderful. He was caring and attentive and what was especially nice was he dealt with us through our time at the hospital, so we weren't seeing different nurses and having to explain over and over what the problem was. The car park is also great. You don't have to worry about not being about to park, or have to worry about having change as the machine takes cards. The last thing you need when visiting a hospital is to worry about parking and having the correct change.
