"Two excellent male nurses who ..."

About: Northwick Park Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

Two excellent male nurses who knew their job and cared for my husband with skill

What could be improved

Diagnosis and treatment doctor training and continuity of care with ONE doctor not a different one each day.Communication.

Anything else?

Any equipment removed from a patient must be examined to see that it is entire.A catheter taken out was not checked despite being bloody. This resulted in a serious infection and organic delirium which will have ongoing effects on an 82 yr old man

Thank you for taking the time to comment on the care you received at our hospital.

Your comments are important to us and we would like to discuss them with you in more detail so that we can improve the services we provide but also inform the two male nurses that you were pleased with the service they offered.

We would like to reassure you that we take infection control matters very seriously and have a range of measures in place to ensure a clean environment, which includes equipment, for our patients. We would like to investigate the issues raised further.

Please contact us directly by calling 020 8869 2026. Thank you.
