"Not happy with how the staff treat me at my local surgery"

About: Stoke on Trent PCT

(as a friend),

Am here to complain about my surgery and about the people working there. I believe they are all racist; they don't like black people. I have been tolerating this for almost a year now but I believe it is time to act. The way they behave really does depress me a lot. I have been taking it, thinking that things will change but is getting worst and worst everyday.

The other day, I called to be sure about my appointment which due in a few days for my flu jab, but all I could hear is complaining and shouting, as if I called to ask for money or for accommodation. For Christ sake, she is working there, it is her job, that is what she is there for. I was even saying, “am sorry, please, sorry if I bother you with my call” but she didn’t just listen to me. After confirming the date, she just bang the phone on me and it was so loud that what I was carrying nearly fell from my hand. It really angered me, so I called her back and asked her name, then I ask her “why did you hang up on me like that?”, she said “oh I was looking for the appointment”. I said that didn’t answer the question, then I ask again “why are you so hot when I ask you just a simple question?” She just kept saying “I, I, told you when your appointment will be” then she drop the phone again.

I felt so bad that I said to myself that I must change my surgery before things get out of hands. This is not the first, not the second and the way I see things, I think it will get worst one day. So I better change doctor before anything else goes wrong and they call it a mistake, anything can happen this day. So I am making this complaint for you to know what am passing through. Many people I know of are saying this same thing and we are all black. This is end of my story. Thank you.
