I have been seen 3 times by 3 different doctor for a foot navicular fracture. The first doctor did not say anything except I needed a cast did not even specify I should not walk, the 2 nd doctor 4 weeks later was great in his explanation. He ordered a air boot cast for me saying that in 2 weeks if the x ray prove satisfactory, it will protect my foot while starting physio.Today I am not sure the doctor I have seen was involved, my cast has been put off I have had another x ray, his explanation whether it was healed or not was not clear, you can still see the fracture line. I have spend 3 minutes with him been discharged without any advise on what I am suppose to do next. I have tried to ask question I have been told that after 6 weeks in a cast it is all ok, because I had six weeks in a cast. I am puzzled and I wonder if the decision he has taken was purely based on time spend in a cast and not the actual state of my foot. No physio, after care have been mentioned. I have now a swollen foot out of a cast, no shoes fit, I cannot walk.... Any advise on what I should do next. Thanks
