"Very caring and supportive staff"

About: Southport & Formby District General Hospital

I was treated in A&E on the evening of the 4th February following an overdose. I had to wait 3/4 of an hour just to see the triage nurse which seemed excessive considering there were only 2 other people in the waiting room however, as soon as I was assessed I was taken through to the department. The nursing staff were very caring and supportive and took the time to find out what had led me to become so distressed. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were very kind to me especially considering the circumstances I had come in under. After transfer to the coronary care unit again, the nursing staff were very kind and supportive. I can't thank them enough. Without them I probably wouldn't be here today and slowly getting my life back to something like normal. Massive thanks to all the staff who looked after me without being judgemental.
