On the odd occassion I've had to phone Lister Hospital and have found the staff to be abrupt and rude while answering the phone, often cutting me off in mid-sentence.

While it is not clear to which service within the Lister you refer, clearly it is not acceptable that anyone feels that our staff are abrupt or rude when answering the phone. We would encourage anyone who feels that they have been treated in such a manner to make a formal complaint so that it can be investigated in full and any action taken, as needed
