"Urology Dept - So many contact No's but no one..."

About: Charing Cross Hospital

I recently was referred to the Urology dept by my GP / Practice Nurse and although the actual appointment went ok - not too much waiting time etc i'm very disappointed with the dept since. On the day the consultant decided to put me on medication for 3 months but if I was to have any symptoms through that time to contact them immediately - I did so on Monday this week after having symptoms and was told by the nurse on the phone that she would speak to my consultant and get back to me. I have heard nothing since, i called again on Tues, wed and Thursday and yet given multiple numbers can not get someone on the phone...... :( Then to top it all off i'm nearly out of my first round of meds and the consultant told me a letter would be sent to my GP where i can get further prescriptions and today I get told by my GP and they have not received anything from the consultant or Hospital since my appointment.... I have called Yet again and guess what - still no answer. Very worrying - frustrating and inconvenient.
