My father was admitted to the hospital on 19.1.14 and after a night on EAU was transferred to Ray ward. He was seriously ill but the doctors and nurses did all they could to treat him. On 27.1.14 we were told that there was no more could be done for my dad but we were assured by the medical team that they would ensure he was comfortable and would not feel any pain. Throughout the whole of dad's stay we were involved in all the decisions with his care. He was treated with respect and dignity until he passed away on 1.2.14. The team on the ward also looked after us (the family) showing great compassion during a very difficult time. I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff on Ray ward for all they did for my dad and for all their help and support they gave to us. Their professionalism allowed my dad to die with the dignity he deserved. An amazing team of people. Thank you again.
"Thank You"
