About: Leighton Hospital / Neurology North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance Royal Stoke University Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

I collapsed on a Friday several weeks ago. Fortunately I was with others and help was quickly provided by paramedic and ambulance care. Transferred to Leighton where a scan revealed an aneurysm. Transferred to N Staffs where a successful operation to insert a coil was performed on the Saturday. Transferred to the critical care unit Pod 2 for several days before being moved to ward 228 until discharge this week.
