"Magnificent care in gynaecology, Lavender Ward."

My daughter was cared for in Lavender ward for nearly a week whilst she suffered a late miscarriage.

I cannot praise the staff response highly enough.

She was looked after by so many people, and every single one of them performed with the highest level of professionalism and care. From senior consultants to domestic staff, each was wonderful in their role.

Nurse Lizzie and Doctor Blackwell were particularly marvellous, but others are only not named purely because their names have blurred in the memory.

At a time when one sees nothing but negativity from government and press about health services, I do hope that this message gets through to the ward concerned, where practice is as good as it could possibly be.
